2005 National Council for Geographic Education (NCGE)/Cram Award

2005 National Council for Social Studies Grant for the Enhancement of Geographic Literacy

The NCSS and the George F. Cram Company will award a $2500.00 Grant to individuals or groups in school districts, public institutions, or universities that create a program that promotes geography education in the schools; enhances the geographic literacy of students at the classroom, district, or statewide level; and encourages the integration of geography into the social studies curriculum/classroom.
