The Direction Skills Inset Map has a large compass rose that is shown over a hemispheric projection. The four main or cardinal directions are labeled and definitions are provided.

The Location Skills Inset Map shows the global location of all 50 states in one view. It also provides examples of, and written definitions for a state, a country, a continent and a city.
